Astra Studio Dance Company
Training. Artistry. Teamwork. Achievement.
The Astra Studio Dance Company is our competitive performance program for dedicated dancers who are ready to challenge themselves through advanced training, performance, and competition.
Company dancers represent Astra Studio at regional and national competitions while continuing to build strong technical foundations across multiple dance styles. Through training, rehearsals, performances, and shared experiences, dancers develop artistry, confidence, discipline, and teamwork both on and off the stage.
Company opportunities are available at multiple ages and levels, with placement determined through auditions, teacher recommendations, or faculty placement depending on the program.

The Astra Company Experience
Astra Company dancers train throughout the season in both technique classes and dedicated Company rehearsals, building the skills, versatility, and performance quality needed to take the stage with confidence.
Throughout the year, dancers have opportunities to perform at regional and national competitions, Astra Studio productions, and community events. Company members may also be considered for solos, duos, trios, and specialty routines based on placement and readiness.
From time spent together in the studio to the excitement of taking the competition stage, the Company experience challenges dancers to grow individually while recognizing the role they play in bringing a piece to life.
Award-Winning Company
Astra Studio Dance Company has earned recognition at regional and national competitions for performance, choreography, artistry, entertainment, and more.
In 2026, Astra celebrated a milestone achievement when Hocus Pocus was named National Grand Champion at the Turn It Up Dance Challenge National Finals at Foxwoods Resort Casino, also earning the Entertainment Award.
These accomplishments reflect the dedication of our dancers and faculty and the training, teamwork, and artistry that go into every season.
