Astra Studio is located on the lower level of The Estuary in Old Saybrook.
Astra Studio is honored to call The Estuary home. The indoor studio space features a professional, over-sized dance floor and floor-to-ceiling mirrors.
In favorable weather, Astra classes have been known to take place outdoors, providing students with fresh air and the opportunity to experience performing in a natural setting.
Ballet classes in the spring and fall have seen deer and bunnies outside the windows, as the wildlife enjoys the classical music from dance!

Main Studio
Our main training space features an oversized dance floor with floor-to-ceiling mirrors. This studio is used for most classes and rehearsals.
Studio Two
A second training space provides additional room for smaller classes, private lessons, and solo or duo rehearsals.
Training Equipment
Astra Studio is equipped with professional training tools that help dancers build strength, coordination, and confidence safely. Our studio features specialty training equipment including tumbling mats, an air track, balance trainers, and skill-building apparatus used to support acro and tumbling instruction.
These tools allow dancers to safely learn and progress through new skills while developing strong technique.

Astra Studio is located just off Main Street, at The Estuary in Old Saybrook, providing easy access for families from across the Shoreline communities including Old Saybrook, Westbrook, Old Lyme, Essex, Clinton, and surrounding towns.

Astra dancers regularly participate in local performances, community events, and regional dance competitions. These opportunities allow students to share their love of dance while building confidence and stage experience.
