What does "Astra" mean?
The word Astra is of Latin origin. It's the plural of "astrum" and means "stars". In name books, Astra means "a bright and shining star".

Astra Studio is honored to call The Estuary home. The indoor studio space features a professional, over-sized dance floor and floor-to-ceiling mirrors.
​
In favorable weather, Astra classes have been known to take place outdoors, providing students with fresh air and the opportunity to experience performing in a natural setting.
​
Ballet classes in the spring and fall have seen deer and bunnies outside the windows, as the wildlife enjoys the classical music from dance!
